I left k12 on the admin side and had 20 days of vacation that were use/lose.

I had a month of leeway before the new job and wanted to leave the district on good terms since my kids still went there. I took half days every other day. My boss got that I wasn’t trying to screw then, but they were happy for me to be screwed out of those days.

That being said, I also worked up to 6:30 pm in my last day to make sure that they were good to go before I left.

I can appreciate that perspective. What I am leaning towards doing is staying full time through my kids' state test (8th grade Science), and then after May 9 using every day. I do want to keep 15 days in the disposal because I can buy .25 years on my PERS account. The rest I want to use.
