When I started at EBR library -the starting pay for a librarian (masters degree required) was $36,000 - to be a librarian in EBR public schools (no masters degree required - just a certificate - which I have, too) starting pay was $47,000

I worked for the state in the late 90s/early 00s. I'm sure it's still a shite show

I have a lot of respect for teachers despite the OT narrative and I want them to be paid decently
