It pisses me off when they yell crap like "elbow up" or "leg kick".
They're 8. They eat dirt. Let them love the game.

Yes, do not scream at your children during a game. I coached my children for many years in various youth sports, but when I did not I never yelled at them.
However, do not make fun of the “back elbow” up. Great hitters generally start their swing with their elbows parallel to the ground, weight on their back foot, and first finger knuckles aligned.
