What kind of coverage are you looking for?

Theft/loss/damage may be covered under a rider on your homeowners policy. Not sure this would cover you if you use it commercially though.

If you’re looking for liability type coverage or something else, I’m not sure. I have a tractor as well but don’t carry insurance on it, so curious what benefit it has.

Why would SF drop the tractor policy? If it’s truly and independent policy, it shouldn’t get dropped. The price may increase if it’s getting a multi line discount though.

Theft, fire, basically so that if it got stolen or burned up that my $20k investment isn't gone. I don't use it commercially or even take it off my property.

I checked with USAA today and it is covered under personal items on my homeowners, but only for $3k and thats non negotiable.

USAA directed me to Travelers insurance, who were going to write my policy until they found out I was in Louisiana.

Farm Bureau also told me they wouldn't write a tractor policy without something else covered, as another poster said.
