Resigned or hired elsewhere? Should come be an assistant for McMidmajor

Cordaro seems to be just the latest in a batch of "resign or be fired" ultimatums given to the old guard at LSUA

in the last 2 years pretty much every sport at LSUA has seen its coach resign except 1... women's tennis (LSUA has 7 sports... M&W SOC, M&W BKB, BSB, SFT, WTEN)... and it all started when the previous AD was given that ultimatum b/c he didn't want to take a cut in funding to the department

and it's not like LSUA was bad in any sport... pretty much every sport has achieved some kind of success... typically making deep conference tournament runs and getting in national tournaments

but the underlying issue has always been finances... my understanding has been it's been a mess for a while... hence the release of the old guard and trying to bring in younger, cheaper coaches

Cordaro will land on his feet somewhere... but LSUA took the opportunity of him missing the NAIA Tournament for the 1st time in the program's 9-year history this year to get rid of him and get his paycheck off the books (I can almost guarantee he was the highest paid employee in the athletics dept at LSUA... even more than the AD)

the soundbite in this tweet from KALB sports reporter Dylan Domangue reads to me that this was a "resign or be fired" situation
