Also, lsu unlucky season continues because that is the one regional that is going to be extremely hard for anyone outside the first seed to come out of.

Yes that was frustrating to watch. Haleigh should have received a 10 on floor and shared the title. Hopefully they will get KJ back and put Cowan on bars for regionals.

New conspiracy theory.. they held Haleigh’s scores down just a tad to lock up GOTY for Trinity

That’s the Denver Regional (seeded teams).

I'm nauseated thinking about Oregon St being in this regional.

I know people want to joke about SEC scoring (which is bad) but Oregon St IMO is on another level of ridiculous overscoring relative to the rest of the country and its not even remotely close. Especially Jade Carey...

If LSU does their job they will get to Nationals. Overscoring hasn’t helped Oregon State to a better ranking than LSU. These girls have their blinders on and know that they can hit when it counts. They just need to find the sticks and small details.

There is also the altitude factor which Michigan has not had to deal with yet this year (Denver is higher up than Utah). A normal meet (hopefully with the right people in the lineups that were mentioned before) and KJ back healthy will get us to Nationals no question

The bad thing about that regional is if we don’t get past Denver it will be so hard for hayleigh or away to get past jade for aa title. Oh well I’m just super proud of how these girls performed in their last leg of the season. Showed so much mental toughness. And as much crap as she gets on here sometimes, i really want alyona to come back next year. She had a great meet tonight!

I have some thoughts about this meet that I’ll share - but overall am super proud of the fight this whole year when nobody would’ve blamed them for throwing in the towel.

The main thing - is man, I am glad we came back in the last two rotations and best Kentucky. Losing to that team makes me so mad.

I just want to say, I thought the girls did great under the circumstances tonight. And If you’re not going to win 1st then really whether we finished second or third doesn’t matter. But one thing I want to touch on as a new fan of gymnastics. This sport has grown a lot(hence the reason I’m here) but the judging is really holding it back. If they want to continue to grow the sport the judges have to get better and made accountable

Are the regional pairings:
1 vs 36
2 vs 35
and so on?
