It has been a fairly easy schedule but they have done exactly what they should have done with it, all you can ask. Ready for this weekend

Damn near averaging a 10-run rule is wild. I haven’t been this stoked for SEC play to start in years. This team could wind up being a juggernaut

But the rest of their schedule is absolute arse. Just incredibly bad.

So are a lot of other SEC teams

OM has played 1 Q1/Q2 team. They played a ton of horrific P5 opponents.
Mizzou played in the College baseball showdown and has played a dogshit schedule since.
Tennessee's highest RPI teams they played, they lost to all 3 and they have a worse NCSOS.
Auburns most impressive OOC opponent is Southeastern who they lost a series to
A&M played in the Shriners. Apart from that their best OOC series was against Portland and they dropped that.
UGA has only played teams around 100-150 in RPI. 1 decent series against GT

You can nitpick a lot of SEC teams schedules

Yep. That's the direction I was going. I just picked South Carolina first because they have the best record in the East pre-conference. And then I looked at Alabama.

And everything will change over the next couple of weeks even. We have some wins that will look better later than they do now. And we have a loss that doesn't hurt us.

Also, #1 in shut out games.

Strength of schedule means nothing right now, play who’s in front of you. Seems like thus far reading the stats, we’re a bit better than average doing just that. GDT’s

So look at the TOP 10 teams in the country. How many of those teams does LSU play? TOP 15? You clowns want LSU to play a tough out of conference schedule plus play this SEC schedule? By the time LSU plays in the SEC tourney in Hoover, no one will be mocking the schedule. To date, CJJ has done everything right. Yet some ranters here know better.

We know. Conference schedules are hard for every SEC team. These games are tuneups. It’s just funny there were/are people discrediting Alabama’s success so far when we are basically in the same situation. Arguing about it now is pointless, we’re about to find out on the field instead of this statistical/SOS BS

It's actually pretty close to being the worst in the SEC.

Yea I should have worded that differently. I meant to say LSUs SOS isn't the worst in SEC or even close to being the worse in CBB.
