So many on this board are immature when it comes to life and probably relationships. You don't have to agree with a person politically to like him/ her as a person.
Yeah, well when said person runs for and is elected to the highest office in the land and spearheads numerous political actions that not only dramatically affect your way of life but also send your nation's sons and daughters off to die for a cause you don't have the guts to defend, then that's a little bigger thing than just "not agreeing politically".
My brother is a flaming lib. His wife is a flaming lib. I avoid talking politics with both and have let both know I would defend their right to their own mind and opinions to the death. But let's not pretend that this is the same civilized political environment we both grew up in. One side has been actively censored and in many cases driven out of livelihoods for the crime of a simple political opinion. More than ever, politics is impeding on the lives of people in this country and W. Bush is a big, big part of why.

Oh, please so many " conservatives" that today are so against war, were ready to go and obliterate Saddam back in 2003-04 and eliminate Afghans as a viable ethnic group. Attitudes towards military intervention changed when the opposing party also adopted the pro military intervention stance. BTW, Bush never wavered on his justification of removing Sadam even when the WMD evidence became questionable.
But what we are talking about is the maturity level of so many of you. Someone who is a Democrat, says that she thinks highly of W as person. So that makes W a piece of shite for being nice to a person he does not agree with politically.....because he must treat her with utter disdain, right? Because she is Nancy Pelosi's kid? Or, he must be flogged because he was nice to the teenage daughters of Obama - or Michelle Obama.
Maybe W is mature enough to not have politics consume all aspects of his life....even to the extent that it should dictate whom he is friends with and how he treats people. You sort of remind me of an adolescent girl.....because even an adolescent boy could separate the two.

No he’s not. G W Bush has never advocated for cancel culture that I know of.
