Who is this "they want"????

IMO and many others that fish Calcasieu Lake [Big Lake], were not in favor of this change that was made over 10 yeas ago.

Before the change, Big lake was know as a place that produced many Speckled trout over 8 lbs each year. It has been many years since anyone has reported catching a Trophy trout in Big lake.

Also, since the trout limit was lowered to 15 fish, most anglers repot that the majority fish they catch are 10-11" long.

Lowering the trout limit and allowing the Oyster fishermen to destroy most of the Oyster reefs has had a big negative on the trout population.

what does lowering the limit have to do with size? that makes no sense at all. lack of big fish is a direct result of pressure. when was the last hurricane?
