This just seems excessive.

It became a routine. Wake up, make coffee, load a bowl. I stayed high all day and would take a hit before work or any errands I had to run.

It wasn’t until I had my daughter that I started thinking this isn’t a good routine. I would go out in the garage and take a hit and then watch her and think why did I just do that? I noticed it was more of a compulsion than anything. Now if I wanna smoke I just drink a glass of water.

^ you’re not alone in that sentiment either. The day becomes you passing thru the motions and next thing you know it’s the next day repeating it.

Stopping wasn’t hard but it didn’t come without withdrawal symptoms either. I stopped that and all my meds. I’m just now, since quitting, not having any effects. So bout 3 months.

It's so easy these days it's hard to pass up. Definitely becomes part of the routine. Even after realizing it's not fun to be high in certain situations, you still find yourself taking a rip of the pen. Best I've done is hold off until I've gotten all my shite done but more often I'm smoking before noon. Drink socially and could take it or leave it when it comes to booze but something about the weed man.
