I take breaks all the time. Currently on one now for the past month or so. Usually they last 2-3 months. Used to be same as you. Everyday, and all day. But just got tired of it nonstop honestly. Never had the mood swings or ever felt addicted either though.

I quit cold turkey in my early twenties. Quitting was a big part of getting my life together.
