Cool to see a legitimate settlement though. Communism working on the macro level lol
I don’t think I’d call that the macro level. They said the town had like 300 people and they purposefully kept the population low because they seemed to know it isn’t sustainable at a a larger level like that

Poor fricking Joel man. He knows he isn’t what he once was but he can’t stand to hurt Elle. Why didn’t Tommy just go with them?
Yeah this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. If he’s letting Ellie choose, he’s okay with Tommy still going. Why not have Tommy join them, it doesn’t have to be an either/or scenario and that was Joel’s original plan to begin with.

It was never said out loud, but I think it was an accepted thing that Tommy and Joel aren’t going to “work” together again.
I’m sure we’ll learn more in a future flashback, but they must have done some terrible shite together.

Exactly. Communism in it's purest form would be perfect but the problem is human nature. Eventually, people rise to the top and drop to the bottom and the people in the middle get fricked over. Sound familiar? Guess what is happening in the good ole USA? Do you think we are leaning more to a Republic or socialist and eventual communist agenda?
I digress. This episode was OK. Ellie's scene with the dog was a little overdramatic. She's not a toddler. I also, found the Indian couple quite entertaining. I hope they get another scene maybe when they make their way back.
