Really being cancelled means you lose your livelihood, not just public opinion. That's why so many apologies happen. Some second-rate news reporter gets cancelled, and he has to sell his home in a year and liquidate his retirement accounts to stay above water. All these men mentioned could lose every endorsement they have, and their lifestyles would remain the same. Thats what being Un cancelable means.
