That is 100% what the new retort to this disaster is.
All of the Woodward fan boys can only reply “Wade did it to himself” or “Wade isn’t coming back”. Refuse to acknowledge the lack of coaching ability McMahon has.

So why doesn’t he tighten the rotation? There are samples of very good play this season. Wake, Arky, Kentucky, K-State. The problem is he doesn’t draw anything from that. Nothing we’ve done since then resembles anything we did in those games. You don’t get a bigger red flag than that.

Maybe you convince Miller and Hayes to stick around. Bring back Fountain, Reed, Phillips, as bigs off the bench. You need a great guard, a great small forward and stretch 4 like Darius Days to come in and Start.
You need 3 Starting Caliber players to have any chance of turning this around

Anybody who can't see this team has very little talent and none at the guard position just isn't looking.
Can't say good or bad on CMM yet, but the talent level on this team is bottom SEC and we have the worse guard play in the league.
We can't shoot, then add in we don't protect the ball and make stupid passes, you lose alot.

The scariest thing to this whole equation is we literally have no one coming in right now and I have zero confidence we’ll pull any talent from the portal.

They get open shots. They just don't make them. That is not coaching. They turn the ball over with stupid passes. That is not coaching. We do not have an SEC caliber guard. Ward may end up being one if he stays but 5 less turnovers and 5 more shots made and it's a win. I'm not saying MM hasn't made mistakes but when your starting guards can't make simple plays it is hard to win no matter who is coaching.

Look at how bad Georgia is, we looked like the better team most of the game, although both teams are complete dogshit.
Now ask yourself this how is that team 6-7 and we are 1-1000 in this conference.

I agree with all of you, we are a terrible basketball team. But the coach is not all at fault. The players are shooting like 25% in SEC play and are TO machines. They are playing with effort. They are just not playing smart basketball.
