I'm almost 6 weeks in to my recovery from a microdiscectomy/laminectomy. I have had 0 pain since the second I woke up from anesthesia. It has been years since I was not in some degree of pain from my back. It is really a debilitating thing.
It is so hard not to overdue things because of how much better I feel. Unfortunately, my leg is still numb and I have a mild drop foot. Time will tell if that will improve, but as long as I don't have the pain I don't care.
