I'm trying to remember when the 3 yr low-price deal finished, I think it was Dec 31. That's probably what it was.

For those who don't remember, when D+ first came out, you could commit to a multi-year deal for something like $4 a month. I did that, and not too long ago got the notice that it would expire and I'd have to re-subscribe to keep the service... at the current higher rate.

I'm guessing a fair bit of those dropping, were in that group and decided to give out.
