The NOPD will enforce it, but who’s responsible for prosecuting the new law?
If it’s the DA who regularly fails to prosecute individuals who are violent offenders, why is he suddenly going to be better at prosecuting businesses that harbor them?
The only way this works is if the city is profiting. That’s called a shakedown.
