I’d honestly just give the naming rights to Shaq. His millions in donations and brand equity far exceed anything other LSU basketball alums and coaches have contributed.

Without Brown there would be no "Shaq". Nor Chris Jackson.
If you want to compare, what LSU basketball prior to Brown. Its like LSU baseball prior to Bertman.
Brown has his flaws and he stayed past his time. But damn, before Dale Brown LSU basketball was nothing.

Shaq would be the first one to suggest Brown have the court named after him.
Like Dale or not, he is by far the most successful basketball coach ever at LSU and he directed some of the most exciting teams in LSU history and if we’re going to be honest in our discussion LSU basketball was not very much before Brown made his run and but for a final four team hasn’t been much since he left. imo
