One of my first memories when I came to the US as a kid was at my grandfather's house watching The Dean Martin Show....then as time went on the Celebrity Roasts

There was a Matt Helm movie on the other night, and I watched a bit of it. Dean Martin was hitting on a gal in Phoenix on his way to Acapulco. He was trying to leave town after hitting it, and she wanted him to stay.

She said, "What does Acapulco have that Phoenix doesn't?"
Dean Martin said, "Mexicans."

I had a good laugh.

Just watched a documentary on him a few weeks ago. He wasn't the type guy he was portrayed to be.

He was a big family man and wasn't the party boy many thought he was.

Anybody interested in Dean should read this, probably the best music bio I've ever read.

By a curious coincidence I'm just about to finish reading this, which is pretty good too.

Was he is married?

If so, was he faithful?

If yes and no, he was a PoS and should not be idolized.

As a Catholic he needs 6 of the 7 sacraments to get into heaven.

He is now burning in hell. You should never idolize another man, but this one is worthless

Great show.
