Murdaugh just pled guilty to 100 addtional financial crimes. (He had a guilty plea on twenty some several weeks ago.)

The suggestion that 27 years is enough for nine million in financial crimes ....that's three years per million. Makes our church embezzlers seem poor as church mice.

My own question, that will never be answered, is how is the best South Carolina lawyer, aka Harpootlian, being paid for the thousands of hours he's put into this case in addition to the supporting hours of the rest of his law firm?

So that would put him at roughly 82 when he gets out.

I guess he's challenging the murder convictions just because he has nothing better to do?
