The Netflix show has been out for awhile. We watched it a couple months ago.
They also mentioned on there that the wife had someone looking into the financials for the pending divorce. That’s likely what got her knocked off.
Also, her and Paul were at the house when the housekeeper “fell” down the steps. Paul’s call with 9-1-1 was suspect as frick. I sincerely doubt she was fully innocent in all of this either.
ETA: As Obtuse pointed out, I mixed up the HBOMax show with the Netflix show.
