Ok so looking for what y’all have found works (because I sure haven’t) on a waterproof durable knee boot or even sock/boot combo that doesn’t feel like cement or spaceman boots or require a second mortgage that will let me walk a mile in ankle-knee deep water and keep my feet warm in an open stand in cold weather until the hunt it over. Is it possible?

Lacrosse alpha burly insulated boots.
Liner sock darn tough merino wool sock.
Artic over boot boot blanket.
Tested on all days sits down to 17deg and daytime high of 35
I wouldn’t have thought 30$ socks would ever be worth it but they are.
