All these people crying about walker Howard …

Well fields left because of Jake Fromm State Farm.

We made the SECCG with a RB. People wonder what would have happened with a QB.

Being a five star downgraded to a four star on recruiting websites doesn’t equate to being a good QB as people here seem to think.

The guy looked good playing in high school like Trey Quinn but he just isn’t cut out for this conference. He didn’t even look good against Purdue in garbage time. Those guys are built for SMU or TCU’s roster.

This isn’t helping your case. If Kirby would have started Fields instead of Fromm, their run begins earlier than 2021.

Its really a simple thing. The #3 capable player at any position after 1 full year will move on. If youre a QB take the big check and get on with your career. Just like alot of us would do if the competitor came calling right after being passed up for the promotion.

Its nobody's fault, its just the way it went down. We can second guess whether Walker becomes a transcendent player or if Daniels or Nussmeier will take that next step. He should put up big numbers at TCU. Sonny Dykes is the real deal.

The much better news is Walker couldnt beat these 2 out. If Walker Howard is 3rd best the following year after a full season in the program, LSU is in great shape as well.

It sucks that hes a great homegrown Louisiana QB prospect. Lafayette is a big piece of the puzzle. Kelly understands this. The Howard's understand this. You cant blame either side. Business is business. What would u do? Sometimes you have to depart as friends and get on with it.

Exactly! Georgia lost a heisman type of talent. Imagine what they could have done sooner with him.

Of course, but this is no guarantee. And both Fields and potentially Howard get you there sooner,IMO.

Of course this is the rational take to have, but it's just disappointing right now. Especially if he has success in the future and we don't match it.
