His vaccination status is pretty irrelevant in this situation. The video exists, and it's clear as day that he took a massive shoulder right to his sternum. The guy didn't collapse after doing high knees during pre-game warmups.

I don't care about scoring political points, but one would think for Hamlin's sake doctors need to see if they can find an underlying cause for the episode so it can hopefully be prevented again. If there is no discernable underlying cause and it was simply the hit, then that would likely cause great concern among NFL players because the hit wasn't one that was terribly uncommon. If an NFL player knows a "basic" tackle could potentially cause them death on the field (however rare that circumstance may be) he will likely adjust his thinking about the risks of the game. So if there is an underlying cause, whatever it may be, the players and franchises would like to know that.
It doesn't benefit anyone involved except the pharmaceutical companies and those with the unwavering opinion the vaccine 100% to hide a potential underlying cause if (big IF) it could be related to the vaccine (though I hope it is not)
