This was my Moms vehicle when we were growing up. Bought it new off the lot in 1997 and it was exactly the same color combo and interior w/ 4x4 except it was a 1998; I believe the only difference is the rear hatch/window. Put close to 250k miles on it with zero issues whatsoever minus the Firestone tires being recalled during that situation.
She just sold it 2 years ago and got a 2021 Explorer that's literally been in the shop more than she's had it. She said she LOVED her Explorer but after having this new one would never own another again.
