Here is what the grifter Matt Gaetz help substantially to bring to this congress:

1. The freedom caucus has more powers within the rules committee with more members which sets the parameters for this congress the next two years and bringing legislation to the floor like balancing the budget in the next 10 years.

2. Any single member of congress can call a vote to remove McCarthy from speaker. (Will be huge when it comes to legislative initiatives to raise the debt ceiling.)

3. Chip Roy was enthrowned to one of the most prominent congressional positions where he is the guy that picks committee members for each committee. I don’t believe people understand how huge this is from a conservative point of view.

4. A commitment to Church style congressional investigations into FBI mis and malfeasance and into Big Tech collusion with the federal government to illegally censor speech.

There is more but that’s all I got off the top of my head.

Make fun of Matt Gaetz all you want but he is fighting to hold Republicans accountable something I think you would support since you are a big supporter of DeSantis who sings the same political tune as Gaetz.

I like mostly everything else but this is why none of this matters at all at the end of the day. You don't raise the debt ceiling and you end up losing the next election, thereby giving power to the democrats for them to resume the destruction of our republic.

This country is fricked either way because we don't have a moral and virtuous populace which the founders assumed as a precondition for the American experiment to work. That ship sailed a long time ago.
