Agreed. I also think you’re seeing a younger generation that just isn’t buying into a capitalistic society anymore. They don’t believe how hard you work directly translates to the quality of life they want or believe they deserve. More often than not, they have a point.
Combine that with all the information in the world at their fingertips (cell phones) and seeing what they believe can be an alternative at an impressionable age…well there you go.

This is another way of saying our education system is in shambles. We aren’t capitalist. That’s an economic theory
The younger generation is feeling the affects of more indebtedness and a slowing birth rate which is limiting those opportunities.

How often do they have a point? Hard work in and of itself has never translated to financial success, and it’s certainly never translated to a standard of living someone thinks they deserve. Ditch diggers work hard but they make less money than a lot of people who do nothing but talk for a living, like sales.
