I have a question for those of yall that have experience growing zucchini/squash plants. I've only grown them twice at our old house, and each time we had issues with borers killing the plants. We at least got a decent first harvest off the plants before they hit, but each time they went from big, beautiful healthy plants one day to wilted crap the next. We bought a new house end of last year, so figured I'd try zucchini again hoping I'd be able to miss the borers here. Bought a start in March, plant got to around a foot high and a foot and a half halfish wide, then started getting wilted in parts. I assumed it was borers again, but only lost parts of the plant and it's now growing like crazy and putting out a bunch of flowers. I was obviously wrong about borers, but what else could cause something like that to happen to the plant?
