I get it but somehow, I think he was a fairly busy guy with all he did. He may not have had time to rebuild engines. I grew up a gear head so I get where you are coming from. I remember the first time I worked on my dads 73 Pontiac LeMans that eventually become my first car. Straight 6. Froze over and the freeze plus blew out. Had to help my dad and his friend rebuild that bitch. I was young, cold and hated it.

If they had hooked you up better, and you had something bad arse, you might have gotten more interested.
6 cylinder 73 Lemans.. you would have more fun on the bus.
