I was a decent water ski kid, first one of my friend to learn to drop a ski, big rooster tails, owned my own ski etc.

Apparently, that makes you a dangerous and terrible snow skier as everything is the opposite. I end up going way way too fast and end up with fantastic crashes as my mind wants to cut back hard, get it on the edge, lean out etc. i actually look really good for about half a dozen or so cuts then bam. I refuse to do the triangle shite.

Last trip at Aspen I broke my wrist on last damn run, in a blue/green. I actually made 5 or 6 no fall runs so I thought I was getting it.

I got tired of looking for my ski poles so I put my hands through the damn wrist strap just like the instructor told me not to do. (Great guy and he told me your son is going to be ok, I am really worried about you though. You go way too fast for your ability. ) He was right.

Skiing is weird but not totally hard. Falling is a mfer. Getting up etc is exhausting.

Take a snow mobile ride brother, you can do that

I've raced and haven't fallen once in 35 years. A lot of you just suck at skiing. It's not that hard.
