Ohio State kicker nailed a 48 yard fg with 2 minutes left from the exact same spot

with plenty to spare.
I think everyone was a little too hard on Ryan Day last night, including myself.
If the guy kicks the ball exactly like he did 2 minutes earlier it's Ohio State going to the title game.

That 48 fg BARELY went in…literally almost skipped off the cross bar, I knew before he even attempted the kick he would shank it because he was gonna try to boot the life out of it.

I haven’t seen the replay but did the holder freak it up or just the pressure getting to the kicker?

He had zero good field goals from 50+ on the season. It’s line Calling on a guy who hasn’t made a 3 all season to hit the game winning shot. Just dumb odds.
