The field for the pinstripe bowl looks like a middle school practice field

Did the grounds crew take the entire month of December off to get this field ready for the bowl?

Holiday Bowl was just as poor.
They need to stop having these games at baseball stadiums when there are turf football stadiums within 20 miles.

How much does the grounds crew care about this field year round.. since it's NYC and the winter temps aren't conducive to keeping grass alive.
They haven't played a game there since October. I can't image they cared much about the bowl game 2 months later. Then they just had that big freeze move through probably right in the middle of them trying to get the field ready.

Best point I’ve seen made is Bad Boy Mowers went from sponsoring a bowl game on artificial turf to sponsoring a bowl game on shite turf.

It's December in the Bronx. Temps went from the 50s with rain to single digits last weekend. The field was never going to look like the Rose Bowl.

This game looks like they're playing in slow motion. Two fat northern teams plus a bad field is a terrible combination.

Technically any kid has this opportunity because the old Yankee stadium where all that happened is now a park across the street from the new stadium.
