I always liked that it was less the "who" and more the "how".
They definitely aim to make it obvious and then make you second guess yourself.
Ultimately I think it's a comedy first, a "Whodunit" second, rather than the other way around.

That’s fair, it’s been a while since I saw the first one, but I don’t remember that one being so obvious maybe the 2nd guessing was better but overall it was much better. As someone else mentioned I think it was better being a large eccentric family I don’t see where the people in this one would be friends
