Why not just virtualize the secondary devices in VirtualBox? I virtualized a RedHat instance as my "work" laptop so I could enter time, etc., and didn't open my work laptop for months on end. Depending on TPM usage (assume this is for work) it might work for you. You should be able to create an exact backup of your secondary devices, boot them into "safe" mode in VirtualBox (or Hyper-V, on Win11 Pro)to make make sure you don't have driver issues. I was an admin in the 90s &early 2000s, and haven't used a KVM since then.

I've got an overkill amount of RAM in my computer (64GB, only have 16GB used with no VMs actively running, but a crap ton of browser tabs, Hulu, etc.), but I was doing similar even back in the day when I had 8GB in my old Intel box.

I'd rather shove more drives/RAM into my desktop than deal with multiple computers.

Can’t virtualize my work laptop. Need full access to it and I have 0 permissions for it.
