Yes we have, a billion times, you just may not like or agree with it. But expanded playoffs cheapen the regular season. This is simply a fact. I actually had a thread about it his before the World Series this year on the MSB.

And given the huge disparity in schedule strength between the major conferences and lesser conferences, I want a larger playoff.
Of course, not too big. For me, 8-10 teams is the right size. Auto bids to conference winners (thereby keeping the regular season extremely important), and at-large bids for the rest.
Makes perfect sense.
