Manufacturers might have stumbled onto something. Keep supply low and demand high = more profit for manufacturers and dealerships.

My 03 911 is getting long in the tooth, so while I had it in for service at the Porsche dealer I inquired about a new one. I was told it would be at least 18 months for delivery and the price would be $30,000 above MSRP.

Guess I'll keep the 03 for awhile.

How old is this son? Is this a close to graduation from college gift? Is he actually buying it and you are just looking?

Carvana is staring to liquidate. Maybe talk to a dealer to see if they'll cut you a deal on one of those.

Shouldn't be much longer. Just depends on when college loan payments kick back in.

The market will find an equilibrium eventually, but it is still catching up to all the new money.

Dude, no. Its a junky Ford. Toyota or Honda.

If you can wait, pricing are SLOWING starting to stabilize and returning to normal.

Yep, those 'add-on' fees are ridiculous.

It’s not.

They placed the huge spike in prices on the cars and have left it. It’s common place now and people are just paying the cost

The market is still a little hot but it doesn’t help that you’re shopping one of the most sought after vehicles available right now.
