One unquestionable fact is that Jack is exactly the type of player BK is saying he wants to recruit ion the portal. While you can't keep them all when you do get them the first go around and then they transfer those ripples don't go unnoticed.

I want Howard to play more than a "few downs" in 2023, so we don't end up with another QB situation like we had under Miles. The problem is, with Daniels under center, we struggle to win games, so our backups don't get the real-game experience they need.

Maybe, depends on the kid. BK has said time and time again they add value to Louisiana kids but has said it has to be the right fit. If the "fit" is too fluid it can make some recruits (HS or portal) feel as if they might not have the stability they want. Not every recruit wants to be only valued on their "fit" in a system. The staff just needs to be aware which I am sure they are.

Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and there were more but those three gave up TDs and gave points to teams which LSU could not afford to give.
