DJ Lamahieu is as good or better than Bregman in the pros.
Bregman 30.5 WAR
Lemahieu 30.4 WAR
DJ is six years older than Bregman. And He’s played in 600 more games.
Bregman at this point in his career is similar to HOF Billy Williams
DJ Is basically Howie Kendrick

All I know is they’re both great baseball players and both are Tigers.

College goes to Crews
MLB depends if Crews can decipher the bangs on the garbage can in the dugout.

All I'll say is Bregman was a solid fixture at SS that made the defensive plays when needed.
Bregman has the ability to play some SS in the show and that sure ain't easy. Not like the hot corner isn't difficult in and of itself.
Being a top player isn't just about HRs

You can can argue with stats/talents/accomplishments for guys like Walker, Furniss, Nola, Bregman, Big Ben, etc. But, Crews is every bit of those guys, and maybe more. That says enough for me. They're all #1.
ETA: My personal pick for bona fide #1 is Blair Barbier.

Bregman cheats....so Crews should set his standards higher.

Well Crews hasn't tainted his entire legacy by cheating yet so he's got the upper hand there...

The GOAT is probably one of those 90s guys but Crews can absolutely catch Bregman.
shite a big CWS run and a third string season would do it. We’re talking about a guy who could go 1 of 1

Bregman played at the very beginning of the BBCOR era. They still used the old balls so you can’t compare Crews and Bregman’s hitting stats. Very different baseball from 2013-15 and today. They’re both extremely talented baseball players and it’s simply amazing getting to watch future MLB stars for $10 a game. It’s almost like LSU is a AAA team. Just enjoy it baws.

Crews already is greater than that douchebag
He doesn't have little man syndrome like Bregs

Played football against Blair in highs school. Sat next to and cheated off him in freshman ECON!
#4 on the field #1 on my heart!

Finance and econ were strong outside of sports

A ground ball went through his legs to lose a game in the CWS

Can’t judge them off of homeruns considering the era Bregman played in.
This! They are both great defensive players, and both are big threats at the plate. Bregman played a more important defensive position, and he was great at it, so I would choose Bregman to build a college team around.
The huge advantage Crews has in hitting is mostly due to the dead bats Bregman had to use, but if I could only choose one, and he had to DH, I’d choose Crews.
If we had Bregman at SS this year it would solve everything!
