My heart breaks knowing that a place that lasted over five decades is no longer. I was personally only a part of the last decade of the memories made here. This was more than a place for me. I met lifelong friends that are like family to me here. For those who know my story I actually met a lot my biological family members here. Watched couples get married here. Monthly birthday party celebrations! I loved & miss hearing some of the stories that were told during the day when the regulars were hanging out. Many fund raisers to support the people that were cared about here. Frogging tournaments. Jug line tournaments. “Got Jugs?” Creating new drinks and of course having to try them out. Countless jello & pudding shots!!! Amazing food!! The amazingly talented bands that played. Dj’s that would keep the party going till we HAD to shut it down. Golf cart Ubering. Walking in and feeling like you were always welcome. It was a simple place. A small place. But Fisherman’s Wharf had a HUGE presence. This place contains so much history. My Grandfather opened it and my Daddy cared for it until the end. I’ve missed it. I miss everyone. Just wanted to say thank you to you all for being a part of the best time of my life. See less
