You convince a kid to come with promises of starting ( unless something unusual ) , a mature , good kid , who tries to follow coaching . You have to start him . Even so , CBK said the decision on starter was “ very close . “ Now … Nuss has a very crisp , quick drop back , a very quick release , a beautiful throwing motion ( game commentators , not just me ) , he has NO PLAYING TIME !! Look what he did in the second half of GA game !!
You would be stupid not to try and develop him !! Now … my prediction : JD will not advance his draft stock staying . He will not start in the NFL . He will not win the Heisman .
