Many of yall fail to realize the difference between singling the hell out of the ball when down my 3TDs vs managing a game

JD was a great QB for us this year.

Nuss could be a good QB but you can't take what you saw in 2nd half of the SECCG and assume thats what we'd see every day

and you can't take that same half and expect to see it ever again in a game with JD as qb.

You know what you can do? You can take the play that you see from JD every game - someone who refuses to air it out - and take away that that is what he is. JD = Les Miles offensive philosophy

People are prisoners of the moment…..either that or they struggle with nuanced thought.
Nussmeier may turn out to be a great QB, but they’re no way of knowing that from 2 quarters. The same guy threw 2 picks against Southern. Honestly, we just don’t know until it’s his time

Brandon Harris as a highly recruited QB mounted a furious comeback against a Dak Prescott led MSU team that was beating LSU’s arse. Everyone was ready to anoint Harris as the savior. He then went something like 3-14 against Auburn.

People want to believe it’s Kelly’s ego holding back Nuss but there is literally nothing to actually prove that. In fact, prior to this game, Nuss has been pretty bad when given the chance to play. Remember Max Johnson clearly beat him out last year.

You've been here a while. You know that's exactly what people do, take a small snippet of the backup's performance in games out of reach and project that for the rest of his career.

This is the main issue.

On a bigger scale, the problem is people think Nussmeier could have had lsu in the same position JD had lsu going into the A&M game. And that the same results can simply be achieved next year.

JD is prob worth 1.5-2 more wins than Nussmeier, if not more.

You can assume he has a pro arm.
