Dude is feast or famine. Cannot win consistently with him which is why he didn’t start this year. After the Southern game most of you tards never wanted to see him in the field again lol

As opposed to the other QB who threw for less than 100 yds twice this year?

Y’all all seemed to forget Daniels vs Auburn and Arkansas pretty quickly. Hard to imagine, but it is possible for a young player to respond to coaching throughout the year and develop.

Have we forgotten JD vs Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State??? Or the unconscionable, season altering fumble against Aggie where he fully displayed his ball hogging tendencies?

2 weeks later he went 9/10 for 135 and 1 TD vs New Mexico. Did you forget that?
He's a young QB that needs reps. It happens.

Daniels under threw every deep pass this year. He was a great for this year, but next year its time time get a qb who can throw the ball.

or He's a RS frosh who is improving which seems far more logical than being limited out by his performance in a game earlier this season.

I kinda want this staff to start him the whole bowl game so they can see all of the turnovers he does. If u rewatch the Georgia game he almost threw a pic that the defender dropped over the middle, the under throw to Jaray that he came back and got, and the ball he threw to Nabors for a touchdown could’ve all been picked.

If you guys think CBK isn't putting the QB he thinks has the best chance for victory on the field, you're crazy.

He also looked awful during the Auburn game

Keep in mind Nuss is a redshirt freshman . He is young and has a lot of room for growth. Can he improve and grow as a QB ? Will there be times when he makes mistakes ? Does he have the talent to develop into an elite QB ? Yes, yes, & yes.

Have you forgotten he has not once been given all the 1st team practice snaps leading into a game? That he is fairly mobile himself? That he can make any throw on the field? That is is apparent the team became enthusiastic when he entered the game? The writing is on the wall buddy the ceiling is higher with him under center. JD is an adequate QB but one with severe limitations when it comes to reading the field. You cannot let Nuss walk out the door. May I also mentioned he committed to LSU out of high school. He wants to be the staring QB for our program!
