You should change your name to Nimrod.

Did Burrow hit his peak after 4 years? If you say yes, then you would be ignorant. He was in fact very mediocre the majority of his junior year. He hit his maturity point at the end of the season and it carried over to senior year.

JD has lot of potential and has already shown you he can straight rake SEC teams. Beat Florida, Auburn at home, destroyed Ole Piss, and beat Bama. That says a lot. He can still develop. Anyone who says otherwise never watched football in their life. Hendan Hooker is like 25 years old. Some guys mature late.

You don't know more than BK. Nobody on here does. That's his guy and who he wants and doesn't start Nuss because he sees him more than anyone on here. Maybe just maybe he knows flaws that this board has not got the chance to see yet that still needs the kinks worked out just like JD's flaws. Obviously he thinks JD gives him the best chance to win.

I favor the passing QB.

On the other hand, maybe he is dead wrong about these two QBs.

If you don;t know what you are talking about, don't expose your ignorance.
Burrow started two years and then went Pro. He won the Heisman and a National Championship, after his second season starting.

Comparing Daniels to Burrow erases your credibility.

Where to begin with such a stupid post? Daniels has started for four years and still struggles mightily reading defenses, seeing blitzes and anticipating his throws. Yet with more time he will improve? At what point does one conclude that he will not? Do we have another season to learn? Hope not.

Nuss should be the starter.

I'm all in on Nuss! I like the way he gets the ball out fast.
I dont want him transfering to Auburn or Ole Miss or anywhere else as far as that goes. He's a keeper

Agree. JD has to improve throwing the ball 10+ yards downfield. Looked like he had after Florida and Ole Miss, but it’s gone away again. If not, we need Nuss or someone.

Let us hope that BK saw what everyone else saw last night.

Yea coaches are ALWAYS right. For instance, Kirby was right to stick with Fromm over Justin Fields. UGA fans clamored for Fields up until he transferred. That worked out so well...since coaches always are right. ??????

Here's a little wisdom.

Nuss looked amazing but that was against a base defense with starters out! He looked like Brett favre though I loved it!

Yeah. He has had 40+ starts and still hasn't figured things out. LSU should move on from him.

JD is who we needed, especially early on, but I think Nuss showed last night why he needed more PT over the course of the season.

Both have talents, and each can attack a defense in different ways.

By being so 1-dimensional, JD allowed defenses to catch up with him by the end of the season. They adapted. He did not.

People writing him off, though, are acting in knee-jerk fashion.

We have a championship run to make in '23. Gonna need all hands on deck.

Two championship coaches have demonstrated in recent years that making a change is sometimes necessary and a good thing for teams to move forward.

Not saying it's that time yet, but BK can't put all his eggs in one basket. We have one guy with a wealth of experience but limited ability. Another guy with a wealth of talent but limited experience. Still another guy with a wealth of talent but no experience.

Until one of the latter two is absolutely ready to take over, we are gonna need JD.

In looking through this thread, I have the impression that many of the "pro JD" posts are long on feelings and short on logical analysis. The fact is that this team needs substantially better QB play. No question it has other deficiencies, but as everyone understands, the single most important position is the QB.

How should this be determined? I saw enough to warrant Nuss starting the bowl game. Also, last I checked only one QB plays at a time.
