Why does chrome erase all of your settings and bookmarks when someone else signs in?

If you're losing all of your information it's probably a setting. I regularly switch between google accounts and have never seen this.

It usually is related to my Chrome profile data being corrupt. The Chrome browser stores settings for each user in a folder on the hard drive. When this data gets corrupted, you may lose some or all of your apps, extensions, settings, auto-fill data, history, themes, bookmarks, and passwords.
