We have a Samsung refrigerator making a pulsating/vibrating noise. I took the old water filter out and put it back in and it stopped making the noise for a while. It started making the noise again so I put a new water filter in but it is still making the noise. Any idea what this could be? Thank you!

We do too. It makes the same noise. When I shake it a bit the noise stops.

Quick Story: My wife and I found the perfect Fridge for our new build, A Samsung. One week before we planned on having it delivered I read a thread on here about how terrible they are. A little research and we found a different brand in a similar setup that was in the same price ballpark. Made the swap and have had no issues at all

If it is a water hammer noise, it can be a couple different issues. Mine had the same issue and it drove me crazy for years as it would come and go. So there are a couple different valves that will get stuck when hard water causes buildup. You can change out the inlet valve on the back of the fridge which did not work for me. My issue was the valve(s) on the filter housing which is about $175 to replace yourself. I chose to buy an external in-line water filter and tape it to the back of the fridge. When you remove the interior fridge filter, the water will bypass the valve(s) on the housing thus preventing the hammer noise. Hope this helps.

My ice maker in the fridge makes that noise sometimes when the mold can’t dump the ice.
I’ve reached in and cleared the ice obstructing it. It’s a small intermittent hum of the motor trying to turn.
Could be your issue

Don't buy a refrigerator from a cell phone company, and if Frigidaire starts selling cell phones, dont buy that either ........
that being said our camp had all Samsung appliances when I bought it, so I am in the same boat, dishwasher already crapped out,

Never buy appliances from a company that makes TV’s. Also Kenmore makes nothing. Ask and they will give you the manufacturers name.

Have had horrible trouble with Samsung fridge after only 2 years and TVs too. Switched to Frigidaire fridge and no problems.
