sort of strange since that was the ONLY option TAM had to win.

Shutting down the running game should have been #1 and 2 priority for this game.

Hope they don't try the same gameplan for GA

Jumbo’s strat was solid. Run and control the clock, limiting LSU opportunities to score. Keep their QB in manageable situations, so he only has to make 2-3 big plays instead trying to play from behind. Limit mistakes with safe plays and counter LSU’s speed.

We could not pressure them with our offense to change. Dropped passes, no passes and a critical TO. Aggies played tight coverage, making JD over think and doubt himself on passing downs. That almost bit them in the butt in the 4th as their secondary appeared tired as indicated by the number of secondary type penalties called. We could not take advantage as either play calling was bad or JD was a head case by then.

Aggies usually fold in the 3rd quarter. That TO allowed them momentum to shake off the halftime rust and carry through.

Exactly, A&M can’t pass the ball. All they could do is run.

On offense I wish LSU would have ran the ball 90% of the time. A&M’s rush defense was ranked 105th in the country.

The game just meant more to A&M and their fans. Majority of LSU fans don’t consider A&M a rival. Just another big SEC game like the rest.

Achain (no offense) had a baller game. Our d didn’t show up. Jimbo didn’t plan for either.
