Yeah
Absolutely no divorced moms out there
Marriage killed it

What are you even saying? A divorced parent is a single parent.
You’re saying the dude could easily cut & run if he weren’t legally married. Just about every metric says it’s better for children & society for kids to have two parent households. I’m assuming he isn’t only staying married because he doesn’t want to deal with paperwork to get divorced.

You dont have to give the government paperwork to frick you for a two parent household
What are you not getting
You do not need to get married
There is no reason. With minor dots and is it does not need to exist.
People who get the government involved in their lives for no reason are rubes

It was based on a post I was responding to originally
Are you married? You sure seem dumb enough.

your post has nothing to do with what HouseMom posted, either.

Time to get a side piece. Preferably around 25. Make sure you get her an apartment. And make sure she's not getting high on your supply.

Have a downvote and bump thread when you’re celibate and married.

Divorce? shite that’s normal for someone married ten years with three young kids
This.
Marriage with kids is hard work (if you're a good parent and husband). You have to figure it out with her, you're a team.

I'm in better physical shape than I was when we got married. I probably don't try to her romance her like I used to. One consistent quarrel we have is that I am just about always the one to initiate the sex we have and that aggravates me as I feel like if she really wanted to have sex she would try to initiate it sometimes as well.
Some women aren’t aroused solely by looks, others not at all after managing the kids and life all day, dishes, house, etc. For women like this, it’s consistently picking up the burden of the daily grind, taking off early here and there to let her go out to dinner with her friends, being thoughtful about ordinary stuff, going out of your way to take care of mundane chores, etc just so she can take a break. Not just on days you want sex, make it a habit and you will see a dramatic difference. When she sees the effort going into her it will translate in a spark you weren’t expecting. The issue is when you are doing these things it’s easy to think “ok now I’m going to be rewarded.”
If you really want to see a change, don’t keep score, just genuinely work on changing and you will get there. At the very least you will have the basis for a much more productive discussion.

but the conversation just doesn't flow as well as our younger years when we were still in the "lovey dovey" phase.
You want to divorce your wife of ten years that you have three kids with because your "conversations don't flow"?
Maybe you should have never gotten married if you're that petty.

Sex has gone from 2-3 times/week when we first got married to maybe once a week now.
Kids are tiring. Perhaps you and your wife can go to a marriage counselor or maybe just talk to her about what you are telling us. Marriages evolve, especially once you have kids. You are overlooking that fact and thinking it should be how it was before kids and that's just not realistic.

Once a week?! Settle down Ron Jeremy.

I'm not happy with where our marriage stands but divorce seems like an even worse option between the huge financial hit it would impose on me and the damage it would do to the kids.
I feel for you, but reading posts like this just makes me appreciate my Conservative wife even more.
Prayers for you.

shite, I’m in a damn carpool with two moms helping now.
You guys got married and had kids. What did you expect? No one has cheated or hates one another too bad. Carry on

The shite you are bitching about is what marriage is, especially when you chose to be a parent.
Quite comparing your marriage to what Women's magazines and Hollywood movies portray.
You are a father and a husband - act like one. You have three kids, yeah, kids are a ball breaker because you are now responsible for molding someone into a worthwhile human being. However, they are you and your wife's legacy - cherish it.
You are tired for a reason - especially if you are doing a good job. You need to take inventory in all the things you accomplish compared to what you accomplished and did 12 years ago. Lastly, true happiness is wanting what you have. Sounds like you have a lot.
