Yet it still is 74% on rotten tomatoes. Which kind says it all for how bought and paid for the critics and media are nowadays.

Also when you account for all the misses Disney and Pixar has recently had including lightyear what is the chicken and what’s the egg?

Are they forcing wokism/representation because they know the story sucks or does the story suck because they are forcing workism and representation

Mostly this, combined with a lack of creativity.

Undercover Brother was great, even though the antagonists were literally white devils trying to keep the black man down. That's because the Wayans brothers are funny.

Lethal Weapon was great. Murtaugh didn't like the South African government and his younger daughter was boycotting tuna because they killed dolphins. But all of that just fit seamlessly into character development or set up jokes for later in the movie. Again, because the writers had talent.
