This is the real reason why they didnt want him owning twitter. He just bought a modern media company who was in on frickery.

They basically forced him to buy it at one point after he tried to back out..... I'm not sure anyone was trying to stop him from buying Twitter but himself.

And this is why they [especially their media-propaganda arm] are trying hard to tell you of the success of Twitter alternatives. Sites like Hive and Mastodon have seen 'unparalleled growth numbers in the past several weeks'...
When they finally publish the numbers, it is always 50,000 - 100,000 users. Perhaps the statement is true but 'sins of omission' and anything to push the alternative narrative.
Musk, may bring the whole thing down.
