Wow so I just actually counted the total votes myself from the Nevada SOS website:
Governor Election total votes: 999,704
Senate Election total votes: 1,001,440
So a total of 1,736 more votes were cast in the Senate race vs the governors race.

Just looking at two states with similar positions (a hotly contested Senate race and a Governor's race where polling favors one candidate):
PA - 1,278 more votes in the governor election than in Senate
GA - 17,784 more votes in the governor election than in Senate

Governor R+D = 960,956
Governor: Others = 38,572
960,956 + 38,616 = 999,572.
Senate: R + D = 970,058
Senate: Others = 31,252
978,058 + 32,252 = 1,001,320
The R vs D differential in Senate vs Governor is 9,526 just as the OP stated, around 10K. Math is not your strong suit is it?
